I ordered the oxtails with sweet potatoes, rice and black beans through Uber Eats because I didn’t feel up to driving to Irving. This is my 2nd time trying this place. The 1st time I ordered, it wasn’t memorable, but this time it was on point, fresh and delicious! I’ll definitely have to go to their restaurant the next time. The oxtails were seasoned really well and tender. The sweet potatoes were decadent and the black beans and rice were just as I like it! Give them a try if you like Jamaican food!

I heard good things about this place and they did not let down. The food was amazing but even better the customer service. The gentleman who took our order was patient and and answered all of our questions. We ordered the oxtail and Jeremy chicken. The mac and cheese is divine and the portions are very healthy. It was definitely worth the money, I'm coming back to try everything else and I recommend that you do too. Also, you have to try the authentic fruit punch.

Irving location .. jerk chicken is authentic Jamaican .. very good food .. I’ll be transparent this is simply a food spot .. they always seem busy .. the place is not an ideal upscale date night but it’s a relaxed atmosphere to eat some good healthy food .. Service is on island time , they have gotten much better with customer service and speed , it is a busy place at times so we are patient YES. There is a bar to sit and watch some sports while waiting . If you plan to pick up something to go call ahead . Don’t wanna come and hear “we nuh hav dat”

This is a lovely establishment that teleports you to Jamaica. The food is so flavorful and delicious. The coco bread was soft and wonderful like a pillow. The Jamaican beef patty was fresh out of the oven due to its popularity. The beef patty had a lot of meat and the texture with the flaky crust with the hot sauce. Wow. It doesn’t even meet the Cajun sauce but it heavily enhances the flavor with overpowering the originality. Mykal was very kind and informative of the beautiful menu. I adored the small town vibe of the local shop. The bartender was very kind and it’s a wonderful spot. Reggae playing makes the vibe almost like a vacation for your mouth. So happy I went here. :) 10/10! :)

I am not kidding when I say the Oxtails are 10 out of 10. I have had Caribbean food in many places and Roland's Jamaica Chicken is in my top 5. They have 2 locations I have only been to the Lewisville spot, it lager it plenty of seat, good music and a bar. The staff is super friendly and helpful (especially if you can't make up your mind). But honestly I have not disliked anything that I have tried there, you won't be disappointed. If you even think you are in the mood for Caribbean Cuisine in the Dallas area definitely "pullll up", you won't be disappointed.

The oxtails were amazing! Super tender and saucy. Beef patties were absolute and our waitress was great she even let us sample some of thw juices to give us an idea of how they tasted prior to choosing. Will most Def come back when in town again.

I went to this restaurant thinking it was Jamaican-owned and operated, but later found out that neither the owner nor the cooks are Jamaican. With that being said, the food was just okay. I ordered the oxtail, and it was a bit chewy and tasted like it was seasoned with powdered seasoning rather than having that deep, slow-cooked flavor I am used to. I know it may be fine for some people, but there is definitely room for improvement. That said, the staff was extremely friendly and very attentive, which really stood out and helped make the experience better overall. I would probably give it another try, but it is not a place I would go out of my way for.

My husband and I tried Rolands after getting so many recommendations to try them. I got the Curry chicken w/rice and mac, and he got the 5 whole jerk wings, Cabbage, and a jamaican beef patty. Overall the food was a 10/10 we loved it! My husband did say his portion size of his cabbage was very light but other than that food was awesome, service was solid, it was a small wait but nothing crazy..prcini g was fair, We will definitely be back!
